Well, I’ve recently had a very painful setback… My parents are selling my car. Okay, my parents are selling their second car which they’ve been kind enough to let me drive these past two years. And although they’ve every right to take it from me – I can’t help but feel exponentially pissed off.
It’s a very disgusting & material thing to say – but I really do feel as though I’ve been cheated out of a limb, or vital appendige.
It’s horrible & nice at the same time, though. I’m blogging g on the train right now. I could never blog in the car… Perhaps it’s the beginning of something liberating & enlightening. I had better hurry and overcome my travel sickness though.
Being at the wheel of a veichle for two years has developed in me, a greening sensation of putrid, stomach wrenching illness when I’m using public transport. Dont get me wrong – I’ve been a bus-taker, a train-journeyman and an avid walker/cyclist in my days B.D.L(Before Drivers Licence ;-)).
Perhaps it’s a good thing. I could throw the ‘i’ll be a richer man card on the table’ but with today’s pricings on public transport – I’ll more than likely be worse off!
Ever the pessimist.
Starting to feel the greening. Think I’ll concentrate on the scenery for a bit. Settle my stomach…
TTFN,
x
