Words delivered by the great philosopher Jagger.
The Stones had it nailed. If you try, you get what you need. Trying is key. If you don’t try, you won’t get anywhere. It’s silly to lay dormant; to not grasp at every opportunity given to you. We have one go at this big stage show – better [...]

You Can’t Always Get What You Want.

Here’s to the Tens.
Well, as all of the ‘Decade Review’ shows have so hastily pointed out – a lot has happened in the past ten years.
No shit, Sherlock. Ten years, are ten years. Of course a lot is going to happen. The question is, once you fizz through all of the meaningless shite which passes for ‘news’ and [...]

Success. *AHEM* Starts ‘Wednesday’.
Okay. So, things didn’t work out with the Unicef gig.
I’ve just experienced a week of ache, pain and close to complete loss of faith in the human race. Never before have I been subjected to such abuse, hatred and unrest. No joke; I’ve been berated with a man with a prosthetic limb, to the extent [...]

Aromatic Towels
One lovely feature of my Glaswegian flat – is our ‘pulley clothes airer thingymajig’. It’s wonderful in that it’s both fun to play with (I’m sure the novelty will eventually wear off!) and I don’t have to dodge the rain whilst attempting to dry my clothes outside!

I’ve searched high and low for jobs in the area, however I’m either over-qualified for one job or under-qualified for another. I’m [...]

Why a Writer Shouldn’t Live at Home.
I moved out of my house and back to my parents’ house in May. Since then, I’ve come to realize that you cannot work from ‘Home’. There are too many distractions and obstacles that you encounter. Of course, many will claim that this is not an impossible feat – but I argue you this sir; [...]

And so, the Freelancing Begins.
Having spent a little while yesterday evening and most of this morning, configuring silly things and setting up the website as a Web CV and Blog site – I’ve finally, just about, finished.
Today marks my acceptance of the plight which lies before me. I am unemployed. A new graduate. I’ve no plan. Well – I [...]
